This company started as ‘Neilan Videos’ in 2013 while Mike was in college. He developed a passion for video, photography, and people. He has always loved meeting new people, making friends, and creating images. Towards the end of college, Mike shot his first wedding video. He quickly finished that video and started promoting it to book more weddings, and the rest is history.
As of the 2024 wedding season, we’ve been capturing weddings for 9 years and worked with almost 200 couples. We have worked at various venues around Massachusetts, Rhode Island, Connecticut, New Hampshire, New York, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Maine, and even California! Mike Neilan
Founder | Coffee Addict
Fueled by coffee and meeting new people. Mike does a little bit of everything from meeting with clients to photography, handling social media, and marketing. He’s also a huge fan of wedding cake, so don’t be surprised when you see him eating a piece at the reception. When Mike’s not working he’s usually seeing new places or spending time with friends.
Rachel elliot
Photographer | Hype Girl
Your girl best friend for the day! Rachel is a dog lover with an awesome sense of humor and 2 cute dogs! You can usually catch Rachel hanging out with the bride, hyping her up for the day, and taking great photos. Like most of the team, she’s easy going, friendly and ready for a fun day at your wedding!
Mike McDonough
Videographer | Decent Golfer
Does Mike pay attention to details? Does a bear s*** in the woods? Joking aside, Mike has a great eye for detail and captures great video. He makes sure that nothing gets missed throughout the busy day so we’re happy he’s around! Outside of video, Mike is an avid golfer so if you have your wedding at a golf course, he might take a break from shooting video to hit the course. Also a joke.
Zach Benard
Videographer | Photographer | Really Nice Guy
Have you ever met someone so nice you wonder if they’re real? Well, that’s Zach…he’s just a NICE guy. Zach and Mike met in college and have been friends since! Zach has a great eye whether he’s shooting photos or video and he truly enjoys it. He is a big craft beer fan so if you’re ever looking for some recommendations, just ask him. Zach has 2 dogs, 2 daughters, + an awesome wife named Liz, so he knows a thing or 2 about weddings!
MAE BOGOSIAN

Have you ever met someone who embodies the energizer bunny, but doesn’t like coffee? Probably not. Unless you’ve met Mae. This girl has ENERGY, and somehow does not like coffee! Wild, we know. But Mae is an awesome photographer who’s energy keeps her going even for those long wedding days, and she’s truly a blast to be around. Mae loves a nice diet coke on the rocks, and a packed dance floor!
ALEXIS EMOND
Production Manager | Disney Fanatic
Alexis came on board in 2021 and she’s been an amazing addition to the team! She’s usually staring at her computer putting in the wrong password, but mostly putting together our highlight videos, keeping track of all the videos we’re working on, and keeping the team organized. But she gets behind the camera too! Lex has a blast shooting weddings. Fun fact: Lex got married in Hawaii. It was epic.
BRENT MCCARRON
Videographer | Surfer Dude
Who wakes up at 5am to catch a few waves before work? Even in the Winter…yes that’s Brent. And somehow he doesn’t fall asleep in the middle of the day either, so hats off to him. Brent joined us in 2023 and has been an awesome addition to the video team! He really embodies the Neilan Media style of capturing the day organically from the background and letting moments happen.
JAFETH VARGAS

A big soccer fan and a talented photographer, Jafeth joined our team in 2023 and has been crushing it. He’s always up for new challenges in photography, and is constantly looking to improve his work. He recently graduated from New England Institute of Technology and really enjoys learning new skills + techniques.
Anthony Martel
Videographer | Dog Lover | Bad Comedian
Aside from taking care of 4 dogs, Anthony is a great videographer. He’s constantly striving to better his work and he truly loves making video. Anthony always has a great time at weddings but watch out for his bad jokes and don’t feel like you have to laugh at them. Anthony is a pleasure to be around and we’re lucky to have him.
Dylan Mello
Video Editor | Gamer | NBA fan
Dylan joined our editing team in early 2021, and has been constantly improving ever since. His experience before joining us was editing gaming videos and Twitch streams, but he picked up wedding videos no problem, and has made some of our favorite videos. He’s also a big fan of basketball and knows all the stats of great players across the NBA!
